Nevrax has announced at the official 'The Saga of Ryzom' website that Turbine's former Executive Producer (on the 'Asheron's Call' series) Jessica Mulligan has joined the 'Ryzom' dev team as -you guessed it- Executive Producer.

With all the work Turbine has been doing very recently for AC and AC2 (leaving Microsoft and scoring 2 new expansions while working on 2 other big mmorpg projects) maybe it wasn't so "exciting" for her anymore.
She seems to like challenges and Ryzom in its current not-so-successful situation looks like a good one indeed, it's definitely a very courageous and ambitious move from Jessica.
I'm always in admiration to true game lovers, willing to take risks (with the resumé she has she probably could have been hired by Blizzard or SOE), Mrs Jessica, while I was saddened to hear you leave Turbine you definitely earned even more respect in the industry by joining a small company with an uncertain future such as Nevrax (they recently made difficult decisions to stay alive as described in a previous community letter by David Cohen Corval : http://ryzom.com/?page=letter_davidcohen_20050415 ). _________________ Retired Editor @ RPGDot
