Possible to join the "Dark Side"?

OK. I just finished that part where you kill the guy in those sea caves just north of Gnaar Mok as a part of the main quest. After killing him I have contractred that disease...forget the name.

Anyways...you know the point I am at?

My question: before I killed him he said that I could join their side by going to the mountain and all that. Is this a real possibility? I have a games saved before and after killing the guy in the cave, and was considering trying to finish the game both ways.

I dont know but Id want to know aswell.

I did go to red mountain and meet up with the "bad guy".....dagorth..ah geez!! forgot the name in like 2mins

BUt he said something about me comming unprepared.
