Shrike and delete post

How do I take out Shrike without killing him. My arrows either kill him or he kills me. He never runs away. Tried 1h sword, but he kills me. I am skilled in both.

How do I delete a post. Sometimes I find the answer before I get a reply back. I hit edit/delete, but did not find a delete button on the screen.

Try to lower his health with the arrows, and when he's really low on health, hack at him with your sword.

You can't delete your posts once someone has replied. The delete button is near the edit button until somebody answers. Only moderators/guardians/admins can delete posts after that.

An easy way to knock him out is to wait utill night when he is sitting in the hut on the stool with his back to you. Just sneek up behind him and draw your sword, hack him in the back repeatedly with ONLY right/left swings. These are quick enough to punish him before he can even draw his weapon and will corner him against the wall..
