WoW: Closed Beta @ Fileplanet |
|
I don't usually cover closed content but I figure at least a few of you will actually sign up for this one...Fileplanet has announced a 'World of Warcraft' closed-beta stress test with guaranteed entry to Fileplanet subscribers. Follow the link, click the big banner and have your wallet handy. |

Buyer beware. It costs about US $15 bucks but if you scroll down to the tiny "No thanks, I'd rather have ad supported Fileplanet" and click, you are offered a guaranteed spot in the stress test for US $7.70..... |

B4 registereing yesterday they had NO indication that people from outside North America CAN'T participate in the stress test.
I paid and then my access was denied since I am living outside of America.
Now they have added this info in some place in the FAQ, though still lieing about it in the front page.
BE CAREFUL! |

Same here... live outside the States., but they really screwed up that first bit of press, huh?!
Actually I haven't been locked out yet - wonder if I'll slip through the cracks...
On a side note - what's the point in a stress test held inside one region??? Daft. |
