This is a definite goody, so if you don't want to see a spoiler... Close your squinty gamer eyes
While attempting to find the ashlander's ancestor's bow in the early stages of the main quest, I was able to find an incredibly useful staff. I believe it is called a Wizard's Staff and can be found in the ashlander burial cavern that you have to climb to the top of to find the bow.
Once you have reached the top of the clmbable portion of the cavern, use a levitate potion and fly right up to the top, there is a shelf there with a mummy, some scrolls and this sweet staff. Makes travel throught the badlands quite easy, especially when searching for a dungeon etc.
I did a search on this item in the forums and noticed that some other people have found it but couldn't remember where. So I hope this location helps |

not very explanatory, sorry |

THought i'd get a little more specific for all those who are interested.
The staff has a charge of 1320 and has - levitate 1 pt for 120 seconds
- fortify unarmoured 10 pts. for 120 seconds.
the staff is located in the Laterus Burial in the Urshilaku burial cavern. |

That item is quite valuable, especially for lower level character or people who don't cheat or build a super-character.
As for my character, sigh...., he now already has Boots of Blinding Speed (use 100% magic resistant), together with enchanted item that make him flying all over the sky on Morrowind at 200 km/hours. It get worst when the Ordinators got tired slapping speeding ticket on him. _________________

The Boots of the Apostle and the Amulet of Levitation are also great for traversing the wilderness.
I don't remember where I found the Boots but if you want the Amulet, go to Tel Vos, make your way up to Master Aryon's tower, talk to his head armsman guy (in the first room) and do the quest he has relating to the Zainab. When you come back with the info he wants, he'll give you the Amulet of Levitation as a reward, saying "this is useful when you're visiting Telvanni bigwigs."
I was a member of House Telvanni when I did that, but its not exactly hush hush house business, so I would think the head guard would be willing to send an outsider to do it too. |

I'd like Vampires to have a new bar on top of health that tells you how long a vampire can take flight. I'd like Vampires to have a certain height in flight, such as 15 feet and the bar would depend on how far into mastery one is with Alteration. That would be nice.
I'm gonna go look for that Wizard's Staff, is it possible for anyone to enchant anything to equal or surpass the power of the Wizard's Staff? _________________ (-[ApoK Forever]-) |

Cowards! There is only one way to travel through the badlands, with a heavy armor and a sharp blade! Ha. |

Eh?, cowards?, not me! - the most heroic ways to travel through badlands is without any armors or anything on.... _________________

hehehe...i think traveling naked would be better.
anyways let's get back to topic.
i found another wizard's staff while exploring the Sheogorad region on the way to getting the Adamantium Helm of Tohan. It's west of Dagon Fel in a cave called Sud just before you reach Vas. But you gotta be careful, there's loads of Frost, Storm, Fire Antronach and a hunger lurking around.
that makes it 2 wizard's staff. _________________ DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO TAKE WHAT I'VE GOT? |
