I finally completed Arx, and here's what I got - Akbaa is banished, my teacher arrives and says that I must leave Arx, and I get a cutscene zooming away from Arx with a voiceover from my Noden teacher.
My question is, is this /the entire/ ending? Is there some quest I missed, causing me to get the 'bad' or 'abbreviated' ending? Or is this the whole thing?
The game itself was great, but the ending was rather disappointing...

I think this is the only available final. However there are posseble different cutscenes summerising your accomplishements in Arx. They are trigered just before you enter the Ylsides bunker with a properly enchanted meteor sword. Search this forum for " endings" to get more details.

Ah, I see - I already got all three different permutations of that. Maybe I should try each one, then visit the Serpentsisters, Kingdom and Rebels to see what effect it has on them...my main complaint was that it doesn't give you any indication of the longterm effects of your actions (a la Fallout).
