here's my problem... how come everyone knows how to put a monster in a gem but me?! plz tell me how to do that tnx

You need gems and gem feeder scrolls.
Try the mage guild in Balmora (girl upstairs)

Cast a spell on a creature and then kill it.
The bigger the creature the bigger the gem must be.
