This guy said something to be about how he "baptised" me earlier, and then my only response was: "I'm here to beat your face in" or something.. so I did that.. well, I beat him up (I'm lvl 11), and found he has a cool Sword of Fear... so I took it.. I didn't kill him. I wonder... should I kill him? ...because he keeps wanting to fight me with his fists.

Is he necessary?

Hi Darnalak ...

Well, you needn't kill Bullit*. If you continue to beat him up, he'll give up after a while and just ignores you for the time being. Later in the game you'll have the chance to have another 'discussion' with him (if a brief one), so if you want to have that, don't kill him.
*Sigh*
Up to that point.

*btw, he's another of a pair of identical twins like Cavalorn/Fisk and Lefty/Jacko. His twin is Aaron in the Old mine.
