I don't quite understand what it means to bind or mark something. Can anyone shed light on this? Also, what do i do with all of these Soul Gems?

Mark and Recall are used to mark a spot on the map and then teleport back to it. Typical scenario is go in dungeon/crypt, kill monsters and load on loot until you can hardly move, cast Mark on a safe spot, cast Almisivi/Divine intervantion *which gets you teleported to the nearest temple). Unload loot, treat wounds, rest, have a beer, etc. and when ready cast Recall, which teleports you back where you where (in the middle of the dungeon) ready to finish off what is left of it.
By Bind I assume you mean Bound *Item* - it is used to conjure a nice (high quality) Daedric item (sword, etc) that you can use for a short period of time.
Soul gems are used in conjunction with the Soultrap spell to trap the souls of the creatures you kill. Scenarion: cast Soultrap on a monster, kill it and its soul appers trapped in the gem. The soul gems with souls can be be used to create magical (enchanted) items like the ones you find in shops, but with the enchantments of your choice. Or they can be used to make money - since they are woth a lot (200 for a petty gem w. a Cliff Racer soul captured vs the empty soul gem which costs 2-5 gold). |

Cool thanks for the help, there are just some things that I get confused about. There's so much to keep track of that i'm glad that i have these boards to goto for help
