Loved this game but hated to finish it -- it was like reading an incredible book that I didn't want to end. Before shelving it to my "classics" section, I decided to open the hood and tweak some things for pure fun.

Started a new game and went into god-mode, inserted and took over body of razor and proceeded to go around terrorizing the land. Most everyone ran from me (including scavengers!), but it was exhilarating to have razor speed and be able to catch-up and take a chunk out of prey while in full stride. Those who didn't run and tried to fight were, well, quickly made into razor food. Generations of Orcs will pass along the story of how Aku-Mala, the Undying Lizard of Great Teeth, once came and decimated an entire colony. Orc parents will invoke the legend to keep their children in line.

I once ran up and stopped right in front of the two campers just outside the Old Camp gates, and they both sat there for a second before one of them jumped up and yelled "Holy God, What A Monster" and began hauling his ass out of there. I let him go since I enjoyed his exclamation so much, but his friend wasn't so lucky.

Too much fun, this game. Gothic II, please.

Right, it was a lot of fun. I fondly remember Fletcher's jump when I bit him in the butt dressed up as a snapper and his 'Oh shit!' when he recognized me for what I was.
