The Old Camp is the mose easy route to follow from the begining.

Why not follow Diego to the Old Camp and let him kill all the stuff???

I still don't get it…There is no way that you have completed most quests from the OC. If you have completed most of the quests from the OC then you have already been to the other camps because on quest leads to the other and the next thing you know it’s the end of the journey. (

* Get the quest from the huge guard watching the gates into the middle ground of the castle. Tell him that you can do anything he wants you to do until he gives you one.
Dont kill Mordrag, instead warn him about his danger. Mordrag will lead you to the new camp, killing everything that are in the way.
If you killed Mordrag, then you are on your own.

* Talk to the Baal close to the campfire, follow him to the Sect Camp.

You mean to go to the Sect Camp.

If Baal Parvez refuses, then you are on your own. Just fight a few monsters, gain a few levels, and it will be ALOT easier to take out thoose monsters.

You should be decent enough to take out all the monsters between old camp and the sect camp after solving all quests in Old Camp and cleansed the nearby forests.

(That does not include the shadowbeast).

Best Regards
JemyM

The beasts to the New camp seem easier so i think i will go there..........i have no skill points and no ore. No armor and an axe
i have level one lockpicking and 1 handed swordfighting. I think i going to go to the new camp before i go to the Sect Camp

Tried to lockpick all chests in Old Camp? Thats enough to buy both the sword "Diggers Discipline" from Fisk, and the Peasent Trousers for 500 Ore.

Its also enough to buy all the hunting skills from one of the rangers you met when you first walked to the Old Camp from the starting points. Thoose Hunting skills make you earn ALOT of money.

Do you think that it is a good idea to go to the New Camp first?

I'd suggest the new camp. The beginning tasks there aren't too bad, and it's easier to get around. (The sect camp is a pain because half the camp is up in trees.)

Also, if you go to the New Mine (past the New Camp) you can get some armor from the head scraper.

Do all quests in Old Camp except
- Returning the list to Diego
- Killing Mordrag
- Collecting the Reicipy to Whistler

Then go to the new camp, do all quests there except
- Giving Lee the list

Then go to the sect camp, do all the quests there

Return to the Old camp and give whistler the Reicipy.

By now, you have the open option of choosing your camp. Sect/New/Old.
Wich one you choose is up to you. The only tip is to not ... NOT take the sect camp if you want to become a mage.

Best Regards

i don't get your question. if you are struggling with the difficulty of monsters just run around for a while killing the easier ones and avoid the more difficult monsters. i can't think of a point in chapter one where you couldn't avoid a monster by just running past it and never looking back. you might get a hit once, but that usually isn't enough to kill you outright. sounds like you need to be a little more patient and just kill what you can and go where ever you want--whether it is the old camp, new, or sect is of little relevance.
