Lords and Offensive Magic?

Wondering if Lords also get offensive magic as well as healing Magic later in the game?

Thanx

They study from the priest spellbook, so the answer is definately yes.

The priest spellbook is much more defensive-minded than the other three, but there's still some good attack spells sprinkled in.

Yes, but not until very late in the game will they get great offensive spells. For a long time, the best offensive spell will be lightning - which you don't even get for a while. My party is running both a lord & a priest (with Vi thrown it at times), and the spells I use my lord for most these days are light, armorplate, soul shield (when my priest is tired) and bless (alternating with my priest to keep both fresh). Very defensive oriented most of the time.

I forgot to mention whirlwind - the lord gets it relatively early, and it's the most useful offensive spell they have for a long time.
