why didnt you include mercs in your poll?? they would kick the others asses, theyre armed better, cause they have a smith, pirates are probably only used to fighting on sea battles and mercs would have me on their side 
its a good thing though that mercs and pirates dont fight, cause i like em both and few bandits are also ok. |

Pirates will prevail. They have two mahor adwantages: they have own Alchemist who could brew brilliant drinks, and they have guns. |

i think that a smith is more valuable than an alchemist (who can probably only brew rum) plus mercs have better connections (for example - the watermages) and they know the island better |
