No Movies of any kind
   

When I start up the game I don't get any movies showing.
No bethesda, no intro, no credits no nothing. I do see the splash screens
and the menu and even get into the game. After that I have crash
to desk top problems - which is a subject for another post.
Does anyone know what morrowind is using to show the movies,
maybe I can update whatever it is.

It's just a shot in the dark, but do you have the right VIA 4in1 drivers? They can be particularly problematic with a SBLive.
The one that works for me with W98SE is labelled 4in1434v.zip - older ones can cause all sorts of weirdness when used with a SBLive, and newer ones can cause sound problems (mostly windows XP stuff).
I figured it might be worth a try anyway. Check out www.viarena.com
