With a delay here are the results of the latest poll, where we asked for your favorite platform.
- Gamecube, 2%
- PS2, 1%
- Gameboy and other, 0%

That says something about the need for reporting on console games I suppose.
Since pc are so great (I don't own a console) I wish game makers would stop porting console style interface'd game to pc with half/hazard user interfaces. Two very recent games (kotr and prince of sand) would have been much better (not that they are bad) if they had had interfaces that were more suitable to pc players. I'm esp shocked at kotr interface when I compare it to other bioware games (nwn, icewind dale, ...). It isn't horrible but it coudl have been much better. |

Can the news poster or any other site staff give us an estimation of the amount of people that took part in this poll? |

well, yes and no re: reporting. I voted PC, as most of the games I love are on PC. However, I have an XBOX and KOTOR is the best game I played this year, and I'm glad I got to play it in my comfy chair on my HDTV. Sorry, guys.
So please keep reporting for all platforms. PC games are fading, sadly. I don't like it more than the next fellow or lass, but the RPGs on console will get more complex and interesting as time goes on as they take more and more market share. Competition will dictate creativity over time.... |

Um, considering you can't participate in this survey without a PC, it stands to reason the results might be just a teeny tiny bit PC-centric.
After all, you can't fire up your gamecube and hop on RPG dot with it. |

Well, the poll calls for favorite platform. The result by itself doesn't mean the participants don't care for the consoles. |

As an adult gamer i hate consoles. I simply cannot have a console hanging around my space because others will badmouth me.
Are you a child and you play games ?
So consoles are simply out of the question for me. |

Don't worry.
A lot of adults own, and use consoles. It is just that the range of games are aimed at a younger market. Most of the adult based games are PC based... |

I always found a use for consoles (starting with Pong, actually), and I always found a use for computers in gaming. I am, however, attracted to quite different genres of games regarding different platforms. |
