Is it worth to spend 5LP on sneaking? Where can I use it and will it be a must have skill for completing some quests?
Btw, I have killed Jester, hehe.
Is there any other teacher around?

It's worth it allright! You can complete some of the quests with that ability. I'd spend my 5LPs for that skill if I were you.

There seems to be a bug with sneak skill. When I learnt it from the bowyer apprentice, then at times the skill dissapears from my char sheet. I.e. I spend 5 LP's and get the skill. I press 'C' to open the char sheet and I see it there. At some later time, I press 'C' again and see that the skill is gone. Then at some point it appears again and yet again vanishes. I at first thought that it's maybe because of the armor - how sneaky can one be when wearing a friggin' platemail anyway - but no. I re-trained it and yet again lost it at some point.
Right now I re-trained it at the thieves guild, I'll see if it vanishes again or not... |

Strange. It may have disappeared from the read out, but can you still use it? If it goes away again, make sure you really lost the skill and that there isn't just a bug in how its displayed.

You can also use the sneak skill to get close enough to a shadowbeast to pet it, without it waking up (well, at least during the daytime when it sleeps).  |

When it dissapears, it's gone for good, my char does not go into sneak mode then anymore. I don't know what caused it, but will try to see. Right now, the new char I am playing with, hasn't yet lost that skill. And yes, I know, I need it for Blood Chalices quest. I haven't yet asked that quest, did the Constantino's ring and that's that. |
