Early in the game (for me).
Make you way to the New Camp. Talk with Lefty in the rice fields. Get the job as water boy.
Ask the Rice Lord for the water (12 bottles). Ask again..., ask again,...
All in all not huge money but, it's easy.
I collected over 100 bottles (got bored).
Note: I believe to satisfy the task make sure you pass out the last 12 bottles of water. Or the following day Lefty will beat the snot out of you; the next time he sees you!

Take your crude sword and cram it up Lefty's arse; and while your at it, cram it up the rice lord's arse as well.
Lefty is gonna bug you everyday until you beat him up; or keep being his little gopher and deliver at least one water every day. Your choice, as for me, a sword up the arse.

and you can either finish the quest by beating him or killing him. Killing him leaves another journal entry in the quest |

Ya, I thought Lefty was a waste of Oxygen (virtually) also! But, being Lvl 5 I have some work head of me!
Any chance anyone knows where I can pick up a Set of Complete Keyboard/mouse commands?? The User Manual is a little shy.
