Click to attack and use hotkeys to select which attack you want to click. If that's like playing EQ... then yeppers. 100%.
But... since all 3rd person RPGs use an interface involving click to attack (in some form or another) and click to cast a spell... what can you do? Except pass on Morrowind, of course. ENtirely your choice. _________________ Estuans interius, Ira vehementi

Early in the game the combat is kinda like EQ but as you get better at your skills, it becomes more like Gothic and less like EQ. You just have to build up your skills till they don't miss. It is far from EQ tho. In EQ you can just hit attack and sit back and watch your character fight. Not so in Morrowind. You gotta play it to appreciate it tho. Good Luck. |

MW is nothing like EQ..according to what you think anyways. In EQ you click the monster once and the char keeps attacking (like Dungeon Siege)..In morrowind, each click = a swing..and moving the mouse a certain way changes the swing type. If you click once then stop your character will just stand there and get jacked up. =D _________________ Shifter |

Bah. What's the point of wearing heavy armor if you're going to dodge? Keep swinging and trust in your skill to deflect the blows into the most heavily armored parts of your body.
Heh. My paladins do very well with this strategy. my thief... did not. And I'm sure if my mage was Ai controlled in the slighest he'd scream at me for the amount of times I've stood toe to toe casting ranged spells. _________________ Estuans interius, Ira vehementi

Us pesky thieves have no heavy armor! We must use our quickness to dodge (although I never dodge) _________________ Shifter |

I've determined if I play a thief again it will be all about the marksman skill whenever at all possible. Light encumbrance, good speed, and a crack shot... fire and retreat.
Problem being that the AI runs forward much better than I run backwards. Pesky trees and such. _________________ Estuans interius, Ira vehementi
