Hiya! I'm Ioskeha and I'm new here.

Well I couldn't find anyother place to post introductions, so I guess I'll post mine here. I've been lurking here for the past month now and only registered a few days ago to get some help with Divine Divinity. I figured since I'm already registered here I may as well start posting.

Lets see.... A little bit about myself. I'm 28 years old and have been playing CRPGs since Wizardry 1 on the Apple II, so I guess I've been playing them since the start of them. I live in the rainy state of Oregon - for those of you that aren't familer with Oregon it rain here AT LEAST 8 months out of the year.

Well I think that just about does it for my introduction. So hello everyone that botheres to read this post.

Welcome Ioskeha. I lived in Oregon for about 21 years, and although it does rain quite a bit there, now that I'm in Seattle I must say it rains even more up here.

Anyway, welcome!

Hi Ioskeha & welcome. Hope you enjoy it here.

It rains quite a lot in Leeds too. But I won't complain, it washes the streets clean of rusty shopping trolleys and unconcious students.

Welcome aboard. I saw your top ten favorite games so I won't ask what kind of games you like. Why QfG 4 over 1? The atmosphere and vampires?

I think a lot of it has to due to the fact that it was my first QfG game I played. I got into the QfG series right around the time QfG 5 was released. Tho I did own QfG 1 (which was named Hero's Quest. Anyone know why Sierra changed the name of the series after the first one?) and QfG 2 on the Amiga, but for some reason I could never get into them. All that changed once I played the 4th one tho. It was QfG 4 that got me into the series.

Oh and thanks for the welcomes. It's nice to find some boards that aren't over ran with rabid console fanbois...not that there's anything wrong with console gaming (I've enjoyed a few myself so no offence to any console fans here ) it's just been my experience that console fans are the most ignorant fans on the face of this big blue rock.

Well when they say, 'PC games are the suck' and then you ask which PC games they've played to form this opinion, that's when they'll say something like, 'I've only played Diablo 2 and it sucked (which sucks in it's own rite), so therefor all PC games suck'. And yeah I know that might sound unrealistic, but you'd be surprised about how many times I've heard/read statements just like that one. Then there's the few that think PC games suck just because they aren't made by some Japanese developers. Typically those are the people that have never played a PC game just because they don't feature a spiky haired teen-ager that's out to save the world.

*shrugs* Like I said I have nothing against console gaming. It's the ignorant fanbois I can't stand.
