I've tried this a very many times and it seems the Fire Golem does not take any damage from my Ice Spell!?

I only have the Ice Wall or what it's called.
Damn... I need to find spells...
strange though that the Ice Wall does not work.

My expirience is that ice spells doesnt do any damage to fire golem. I used another kind its called lightning ball or something like that (same as fireball but from other material, but not from ice)...

Yep..lightning to kill fire.??  I died numerous times trying to use the ice scroll, too..but they never worked..so I flung a couple of chain lightnings at him and he was fried...

Well I do have a Lightning Bolt scroll of some kind, but I cannot use it.
It says something about that I not have level 3 magic... dunno what that means. |

So it is not scroll, but rune.
There are two ways, how to use magic:
- scrolls
you do not need to know something, just buy or find them and use them
(but after you use them, they will disapeare from your inventory)
you must have enough max. mana points to use them
- runes
this works just for mages
every rune belongs to one of 6 circles (levels) of magic knowledge
you must know f. e. 1th, 2nd and 3th circle if you want to use rune from 3th circle...
you can learn magic in some different ways, but you will pay for it with your exp. points...
they will not desapeare from your inventory, they are for continuous using...

If you read the Arcane Golums books in the NC mages library, they tell you how to destroy the three:
Stone dies with Crushing (Hammer)
Ice dies with Fire (Fireball)
Fire dies with Cold or Lightning
You could use the frost bolt but it will take a while to run away, shoot a few (repeat)
If you have the mana for it, Chain Lightning will work much better. WIth C/L he gets frozen in the electrocution and only advances between the jolts (like a few inches every 3-4 seconds). C/L will keep basically in the same spot until its dead as long as your mana holds out |
