| patch 1.08h strictly suitable for german? |

I really would like to install the 1.08h patch
on my english retail ( italy subtitles ) 1.08j
is it possible? or does the 1.08k contain all the fixes of the 1.08h?
(dont think so: it's only 4 mb instead of 
is there on the web a damn english readme concerning this patch?
please help me gothic friends!

You don't need the 'h' patch as the English language version comes pre-patched (so yes, 'h' is German only). The 'k' patch addresses Radeon issues (mainly), so if you have no graphics problems, there's no need to patch your game at all.

Nevertheless if the game is stable and your machine clearly faster than 1 GHz you might want to download the patch and the mod kit. You can unlock the frame rate and make the world look a bit better.

where?
my machine is rather powerful...
i'm not interested in a mod cause i want to finish gothic 1 in order to
start the beautiful gothic 2!!!!
