The Bard's Tale: Preview @ Just RPG

Head over to Just RPG for a preview of inXile's 'The Bard's Tale'. The intro explains how Bard's Tale sets a new direction, despite being an action-RPG:
Are you tired of all the overused cliches in RPG gaming? How many RPGs have you played that felt just like any other? The Bard's Tale from InXile Entertainment hopes to take RPG gaming in a bold and fresh new direction. I had the opportunity to view The Bard's Tale for PS2 at InXile's private booth at E3. Speaking with Brain Fargo, CEO of InXile as well as Matthew Findley, President of InXile, you can easily see the passion that drives them and the rest of the InXile team to produce an unforgettable action-RPG experience. The Bard's Tale is the first game being developed by InXile Entertainment and if the presentation at E3 is any indication, The Bard's Tale will be very successful.

I am a great fan of the original bard's tale series. However, this is nothing like the original game, it has more in common with Leisuresuit Larry and The Secret Of Monkey Island. Why not give it an appropriate name or are they trying suck people in who enjoyed the original series. It just reminds me of those sad websites who hope you will mistype the address so that they can sell you something.

I know alot of old fans outhere were hoping for a revamp of the original. When it was first mentioned everybody assumed it would be a party CRPG.

Ignore, as experiencing technical difficulties.
