I just remembered what Sauron sain in LOTR: Orc were once Elves, wounded, tortured and mutilated. But in Gothic their culture looks absolutely different, rather like culture of the Dwarves with technology side removed. I like these Orc better than those in LOTR - here they are more realistic. |

Yes, they have a more tribal look to them. I think they look cooler than the LOTR orcs too.

I like the LOTR orcs better, because they don't say "Mu-Cho-Cho" when they charge you. Also, when Gothic orcs speak English they sound like retards.
I think the LOTR orcs are smarter. Plus Tolkien is the king of anything dealing with fantasy, you blasphemous heathens! |

nobody can beet tolkien, he was the one who invented orcs and goblins in the first place
so nothing can beat him. when i watched lotr i thought the orcs were cool, but when i first saw an orc in gothic a huge rush of hatred went through my vains and my ultimate goal in the whole game was to whipe them out. |

What did the Orcs in LOTR look like? I take it they didn't look like the ones Gothic.

their really cool looking, they look civilizized and speak fluent english, they kinda look like elves except muscular, tall, and very ugly but still cool looking.
but the hell with orcs i want dragons they are the coolest fantasy creature ever made and i already now my goal in gothic 2, KILL ALL DRAGON SLAYERS
