| You guys are going to laugh at me... |

yeah yeah, laugh it up all you want... but i have a slight problem with my game... i uh... i... can't equip a weapon  i don't know how and well... it's difficult to play/win without a weapon... plus i'm getting tired of running from those damn juvenile scavengers... they scare me...  |

Open your inventory.
Use the up and down arrow keys to maneuver to the weapon you want.
Use the action key (usually crtl or LMB) + the up arrow key to select the weapon.

...nah,sorry,i mean ...nah,j/k. Heh, I forgot how to equip a weapon even when I clocked the game and started again!!!  . But, I didn't resort to a forum

   It Ones happen to me and I uninstalled the game until I read the readme file or something like that and figured it out.

I wouldn't be surprised if everyone on this forum had problems equiping the weapons (or anything for that matter) in the early part of the game. Your's truly posted many times about how the general movement, equip, etc. was set-up in this game. But, surprisingly, you do get used to the controls and they will feel natural after awhile.
I would suggest gaining strength and learning the two-handed sword ability. Later in the game, if you are lucky, you might come upon the infamous Nellik's Sword. I did, and believe me, I would have been able to complete the game without it. |
