Daggerfall Dilemma

I just got a copy of Daggerfall for a few bucks, and put it on my older system (it wouldnt run on Xp). To my chagrin, there was no manual on the disk itself, and it didnt come with one. The tutorial is going to help me out a little, but I need more info. Anyone got any good Daggerfall links or personal site with info on the game? Ive stumbled across a few, but they are dead links or nothing really useful.

I know this is like a double post or somthing, but i have to bump it up so it gets noticed ='.'=

How does the xp/leveling system work out in this game? Should I fret about killing every last monster possible? i dont see any kind of accumulation going on. I m just using a flatout Nord warrior, what class of char does jaz use?

The system is the same as used in Morrowind. Skills go up as you use them, slowly, but they do increase.

I recall taking about three weeks (game time) where my characters daily routine was to get up, run to the forest, cast a low cost destructive spell until he had no manna left, run back (jumping all the way), sleep, repeat.

It was a period of *very* intensive physical and spiritual training *grin*.

So, in short, you do not get Xp's by killing, only by doing.

There's also the Beginner's Guide to Daggerfall.

Seek out the m0use for Daggerfall news

The m0use is sometimes hard to track down. The site is also called The UESP sometimes. It currently resides here: http://12.145.63.45/~uesp/dagger/espdag.shtml

My characters were a Redguard fighter and a Khajiit Battlemage (I know, sounds funny, but he was great).
