Hopefully, someone can help me... I'm probably missing something obvious! I'm in the Sleeper Temple, have just taken out the 2nd Shaman, Varrag-Unhilt. I shot the arrow into the symbol, looted the mummies, manipulated the green sarcophagus thingie, looted his body and got the sword of whatcha-ma-callit. I've done this scenario over and over... I can't get my character to "use" the sword to insert into the stone on the floor as I did with the first Shaman! It will just not equip?!?
Any suggestions? (Yes, I downloaded the FAQ, followed it to the letter). Help! Thanks! |

Just one idea, did you take everything that shaman had (esp. staff). Some times you use sword, sometimes his staff to open certain door.

Yes, thank you. I took everything. On the first Shaman, I took his sword, it equiped, I inserted it into the stone. In this chamber, the sword will NOT equip!
Anyone else have any suggestions? Please? I've come so far to not be able to continue/finish the game! |

This is about 2nd shaman in Jemmys Walktrought

After finished, go to the gate in the floor, stand on it, and jump
up to the next level. The gate will open. Note that there are spikes
below. They will dissappear after awhile, then you can jump down
(if they dont, you can jump down anyway, they dont do much damage
if you are quick, just save and heal yourself first).

Yep, I downloaded the walkthrough, followed it TO THE LETTER... but the damn sword will NOT equip so that I can insert it into the stone! I am loathe to say "bug," more likely I'm over looking something really obvious!
I just can't equip the sword to put it into the stone. |

I didnt need to even equipt it, It was done somehow automaticaly...
So if it looks like bug and you need to go trought some doors, use marvin mode and "K" key...
