| Those tutorials shot the TES CS in the foot |
|
A couple weeks after release and barely anyone knows how to use the construction set. Why? Because not only are the tutorials and manual crappy, but the existence of a "tutorial" creates less motivation for experienced modders who learned everything on their own to make tutorials for normal people. |

I'd hardly call those "tutorials". They might lay down the basics of the editor, but that's it.
There's still things to be written for scripts, dialogues, activators, character creation/placement, getting models/animations working properly, spell/skill/race/birthsign creation, etc.
And then there's tutorials for all the "artistic" aspects of creating a mod, ie, creating an intriguing storyline, memorable characters, etc, etc.
Just give us modders some time to fiddle around with it a bit, we'll get some stuff out to you newbs soon enough. |

Rofl... you rip the TES CS for having poor tutorials, and then you rip it for having any tutorial at all.
