Does look nice.
I wonder if it moves in blocks like bards tale or if you move in some sort of 3d. |

Good Point stamar, we'd need to see a demo i reckon, ideally with some enemies in it so we could see how it played, the stills do look great though. |

You move around in blocks. You can tell from the screenshots.
Most of it does look 3D though. (Graphically).
The last screenshot has a text message saying "You are facing east" which to me says you are locked in the compas directions. All the other screenshots are locked @ 90 degrees aswell with the player locked in a grid. _________________ IMHO my opinion is humble |

Looks crappy, the graphics looks too be like 5-7 years old. Why waste time and money on this? |

Because despite the primitive combat and graphics, Bard's Tale was fun. Nostalgia works. _________________ Estuans interius, Ira vehementi

I don't mind the idea; classic gameplay with updates. |

I like eye candy as much as the next guy, but if it has good gameplay/story then the graphics dont really matter. _________________ IMHO my opinion is humble |

Ah well, reminds me of the old SSI games, Death Knights of Krynn etc, and the EOB games but looks nicer. I'm going to buy it I reckon. |

I enjoy a little retro. I currently have Bards Tale 2, Wasteland, Phantasie 3 on my HD, plus remakes of EOB and Ultima 4 using the NWN engine. Mind you, I'm waiting patiently for Gothic 2 to be released. _________________ If God said it, then that settles it!

High Emperor, eh? I had no idea
What's the NWN Ultima4 like? I never played the originals first time around, and while I too like a bit of retro, the early Ultimas are a bit too retro for me to get into. Wouldn't mind giving the NWN remake a go though, if it's a decent representation of the original.
Devil Whiskey has some nice artwork. The characters seem to have... erm... character which is more than I can say for a lot of games these days. The game does look resolutely old-school though. |

Hi Piln, good to see you here. The NWN version of U4 is still a beta I believe, cause it has some BAD bugs in it. However, it is a very faithful representation of the original so it's worth downloading. It's called avatarship. If you can't find it, let me know and I'll find you a link. _________________ If God said it, then that settles it!
