Are there any requirements of fanfic authors? Do they have to be well read on all the other Gothic fanfic, or will fanfic which clashes (plotwise) with older fanfic also be accepted and published?
Do you think PB ever read through any of the Gothic fanfic to draw ideas or inspiration for the Gothic 2 plot?

Okay, I'm back again... 
As for the requirements:
- You need to know Gothic (story, names, facts...). But everybody who sets out to write a Gothic fanfic will probably know Gothic .
- You needn't read through the other fanfics - you can do whatever you wish as long as it's in the spirit of Gothic. Although I have to admit that three of us fanfic authors tried not to contradict each other and even incorporated content from the others' stories... but that's not a requirement.
- One other requirement would be to be fluent in the English (written) language. I'm not too keen on correcting typos or punctuation errors for hours on end. I'll do the proofreading and I will also give you feedback regarding the story's content and style.
You can also add pictures. Read about the requirements for doing that here.
I know that some PB people read at least part of the GothicDot fanfics. As for the rest.. I doubt it, but you'll never know...
