While Gauntlet isn't in our database I'm willing to bet many of our readers have spent more than a few hours on this arcade classic. Gamespot is <a href="http://www.gamespot.com/ps2/rpg/gauntletworkingtitle/news_6090282.html" target="_blank">reporting</a> that Midway is working on a new Gauntlet installment with John Romero heading development - yes, he of Doom, Daikatana, Ferraris and Killcreek fame. |

From what i've heard J.E. Sawyer (formerly of blackisle) is working under Romero on gauntlet. |

It appears he's sticking to that promise. Although the other characters in Gauntlet aren't really 'sidekicks'. I guess his next game will have to be Rainbow Six 4 or something... |
