Gauntlet - Romero Style

While Gauntlet isn't in our database I'm willing to bet many of our readers have spent more than a few hours on this arcade classic. Gamespot is reporting that Midway is working on a new Gauntlet installment with John Romero heading development - yes, he of Doom, Daikatana, Ferraris and Killcreek fame.

"All of my future games will have sidekicks in them."
-Romero during Daiktana development

It appears he's sticking to that promise. Although the other characters in Gauntlet aren't really 'sidekicks'. I guess his next game will have to be Rainbow Six 4 or something...
