Descent to Undermountain
   

Did anyone play this game? I was doing a little research on D&D games sometime ago and stumbled across this one. I never played it myself but it’s supposed to be very bad. (Even worse than Lands of Lore II )

So please drop a line if you ever played it and tell me what you thought of it.

I haven't played it, but I heard it was done using old descent 1 or descent 2 engine. And it supposedly didn't work well for this game.

Yes, it used the Descent engine. It was great back in '94 (I think). When the game was released in '97... Well, you figure it out.

I tried all the other Descent games except for this one. Those are ok. I don't know about this one though.

Descents (1,2 and 3) are 6dof shooters (and they rock !), whereas Descent to undermountain is some sort (?) of rpg in "die by the sword" (?) way. I'm really not sure what it is exactly. But one of reviews scared me off.
