Help! resoultion and color doesn't stay!

Everytime i try to turn it to 800x600 with 32 bit color it goes back to 640x480 with 16 color. my system is
Amd 1ghz
384mb ram
Geforce 3 ti200
Sb live xgamer

Please help.

Have you installed the patch, it fixes problems with GeForce 3 cards.

When you change the resolution, you must hit enter or it won't stay. Make sure you do that.
