What does the box contains?

I played the demo. But I hate games in DVD cases with pdf manuals. Does Wiz8 contains full manual . Is the manual useful? Or just repeats info already provided by right clicking on interface spots? How many pages? Anything else except the manual?

Yes, Wizardry 8 comes with a full manuel. I found it very useful in terms of background information, instructions about the interface, and explainations of the game mechanics (leveling, attributes, spells, etc). I believe it's over 100 pages. I don't remember if anything else came in the box. I didn't get it in one of those small boxes.

Full manual is 133 pages. It will definitely be useful for character creation. The background stuff is nice, but not critical. (I read it and promptly forgot about most of the stuff about the locals, and I don't think it hurt me.) Quickly thumbing through it, I don't think there is anything essential other than the character creation section. But there are useful tips and information throughout. Maybe you should print the manual and use it for reading when you're away from the computer? [Yeah 133 pages is a lot, but it does make for good reading.]

BTW, nothing else besides the manual.
