HAHAHAHAH you guys are funny
Talk abt old , I think I am among the oldest , 38 but...I can still kick ass
OK....you guys were mentioning abt thieving. I have a question which have been bugging me.
I read abt a golden plate in the barracks????? Not sure abt it...I think something to do with Onar. Where is that? I picklock the chests..both in the room behind Lord Andre as well as the Smithy room in the barracks but all I found are gold pieces.
As for the other 2 rooms(might be the sleeping quarters)...everytime I try to get in...the militia stopped me and Andre and Ruga seems to be on guard 24 hrs
Any tip? thanks |

the plate is a golden plate with the names maria and onar on it. you have to learn sneak (use it with x when learned) you can learn it from one of the thieves in the theivesguild or from bartok the ex hunter apprentice. go at nightfall when all the soldiers sleep. it's also possible that the plate is in the smithy of the militia, where peck use to be (if he inst in the brothel)
38?????? well i have to know something how long do you play games and is their any diffrence between reactions now from you in games then say 10 years ago? i,m playing all my life for what i know and i notice that i was faster a few years ago or could that be imagination dunno sigh _________________ The unknown hero's will not be forgotten, everyday they risk their lives in virtual reality thus saving millions of worlds. |

Hi KC...thanks for the tip.
No...I check the militia smithy and the plate isn;t there. Prob is in one of the sleeping quarter but Lord Andre is there 24 hrs so even if I sneak he still notices me.
Hmmm
Well....I guess in a way...we are considered veteran players. I played games since forever...maybe 15-16 years ago,....starting from playing good old floppy disk
Wolfenstein3D, Doom, King's quest: Mask of Eternity, Land of Lore :throne of chaos (one of my fav. RPG)
And I do believe its just our imagination. Yes...I was faster then and more reckless
Now......I get confused alittle easier.....and more concentration is needed...but when it comes down to actually gameplay, there's no difference than 10 years ago.
As far as RPG which is one of my fav. I tend to overlook and forget things easier when multiple tasks is concerned.
My fav. genre however is a mix elements of RPG/horror/supernatural.
In a way..when environment is concern...I can't believe how creepy Gothic 2 can be and I love it. The wild forest with green fog and ghost lights....the sun circle and all it just absolutely creepy I love it.
Similarly I love those dark, twisted games...well, thats me
: Sanitarium, Clive Barker Undying, Darkseed 2, Bad Mojo, Dark eye, Grim Fandango, I have no mouth and I must scream, Silent hill 2, RTCW, Indiana J : emperors tomb and the likes.
My fav games of all time.: Gothic Series , RTCW & NOLF 1 & 2. Grim Fandango , Sanitarium...etc etc |

It's at the room where the militia sits on the evening (Before going to bed) at night, go to the door at the room and sneak in..in thh corner in the left of the door when you enter you'll find a chest. |

yeah clive barkers undying i bought about a year ago. love the soundeffects it's really scary when oyu play that one, i still am playing rtcw on multiplayer but i also like comand en conquer renegade. my favourite oldie are leisure suit larry, police quest and space quest i really mis those games where you had to type phrases with the keyboard. later on i played castle wolfenstein3d doom 1 and 2 very goodgames. and you're right i was more reckless then too it took a lot more then to scare the shit out of me. i feel so soft lately all emotionel and softy yuck. i have the feeling i was more patient and selfconfident then. nowadays i like more rpg like neverwinter nights, icewind dale 2, dungeon siege and so on got more cd-roms then music cd's (dont know if that's healthy) _________________ The unknown hero's will not be forgotten, everyday they risk their lives in virtual reality thus saving millions of worlds. |

Hey guys....one small question abt the plants and berries that I found in Gothic 2 for example dragon roots and goblin berries...etc which are supposed to give permanent stat points. Do I save them for later or do I just eat them then and there? I have NO alchemy skill yet as I am concentrating on putting my skill point first to melee & strength.
Thanks
TO KC ::
HEHEHEHE
Of course it's healthy me too, I have more cd roms than music cd's...so of course its healthy.
Other than "Night of The Raven" add on...I am also looking forward to "legend of Aranna" add on for dungeon siege...so do look out for it.
Yup...totally agree with you....wolf 3D and doom is great..but my fav shooter of that similar period and developer have to be Quake & bad ass Duke Nuken 3D....ahhhh those were the days.
I got NWN & Morrowind ...but haven't play it yet. Maybe after Gothic 2 |

Neverwinter night rules....although i haven't bought the expansion yet, the expansion for dungeon siege i'm gonna buy that one for sure. duke nukem 3d was my favourite to back then, i was even building my own levels, i tried to get a subway once but it was damn hard to get the right sprites and get the whole thing moving. once ii was in a vent and a sharkdroid came from behind the corner i thought i had a heartattack that much i scared other games i like are disciples 2 the dark prophecy there are 2 expansions coming for that one. it's a real cool game. i believe somewhere in october doom 3 is released and another one is lords of the realm 3. i loved lords of the realm 2 sometimes i even play it now and i got the game like almost 8 years now.
in 2004 they are releasing dungeon siege 2 saw that yesterday when looking for the expansion for dungoen siege. man geeeez cant wait until 2004 why dont they keep it a scret until it's in the stores so much games so little time and most of the time i spoil by working, eatin gand sleeping i get really stressed out when i think of al the games i yet have to play
ah well someone has to do the dirty work. to bad i cant make my job out of playing computer games
i never see adds in the newspaper like: do you have over 1000 hours of playing experience? then we need you!!! salery 80.000 duoble free days and vacations 13th month and car from the office contact us now!!!
the only thing they have is work that we dont like sigh _________________ The unknown hero's will not be forgotten, everyday they risk their lives in virtual reality thus saving millions of worlds. |
