transferring demo saves to the full game - possible bug

i wanted to post this in case someone else has the same problem. I started playing this game with the demo, and did everything I could in the old camp. I then decided to buy the game and transferred my save games over to the full game. Everything was great until I walked 'beyond' the boundaries of the demo (new camp, sect camp etc). there was nobody there. There were no objects there either. The new and sect camps were complete ghost towns!
