I can't imagine this will ever happen. As much as I loved the show, I can't see how it was popular enough to warrant this. Heck every spinoff of the show didn't make it past pilot or was killed after one season.

It was the same reason the B5 space combat game was cancelled (and that looked fantastic too), just wasn't a big enough following. Unless JMS is financing it himself (which might be the case) this will never happen.
