Your not going to find a more legitimate place to purchase a game than the people who made it!!! _________________ IMHO my opinion is humble |

Rollenspiel-Shop (that's the shop PB's site links to) is about the only source shipping worldwide. Just in case your mom finds the site without the referral from PB's site less fishy, here's the link straight to the shop:
New Worlds Rollenspiel-Shop
RPGDot is strongly opposed to software piracy, by the way - people who post links to warez sites or promote piracy will be banned as stated in the forum rules, so there's no need to wink* wink*. _________________ Jaz |

I bought Gothic 2 Gold from amazon.de with no problem (well, I had a browser opened on amazon.co.uk (or was it amazon.com ?) to try to understand what they said (I browsed in sync both sites, but of course stopped at the english site before paying!), and translated one or two words from altavista ).
[EDIT]
I tried to buy it from Rollenspiel-Shop first but had no luck: after my first mail asking what to do, they sent me a mail with the infos I should provide. Then I sent another one with the infos, but never got back an answer (I challenged them a second time, yet with no answer).

No need to write in German. Everybody under 40 can speak English in Germany. _________________ Webmaster GothicDot |

Now that is b***s**t, Gorath. If you said the educated ones, I could believe you. It's the same like in Belgium -> Flemmish part and the Netherlands. Amost all educated people have had study material in English. When you go and ask a blue collar worker sth in English, your chances are still low that he would fully understand you.
Famous mistake in Belgium: Springe is a verb and is known in English as to jump. The phrase 'Spring is in the air' could however be mistaken by this as an order. -> Jump into the air. When you get an answer like 'Why should I?', you know with what kind of person you're dealing with. _________________ Moderator and Council Magician of the RPGDot Shadows

At least they all had English -or Russian in the former DDR- at school from 5th to 10th class. This should be enough to understand a simple written business request.
The shop owners answered mails in English before. I don´t think they unlearned the language in the last few weeks. _________________ Webmaster GothicDot |
