Bethesda/Elder web site is so bad....

That I can get the page downloaded but one in five tries, if Im lucky. Game companies know what happens after a games release, can there ever be an excuse that justifies why no one can access tech support on thier web site on release day? Oh, did I say Day....I mean week.

This IS intended to slam Bethesda.

No Excuse.

We are glad that Behtesda didnt optimize their site for thousands of visitors after release .
Why? Because you are here and Myrthos and Garett did huge optimization to make it all fast with all new visitors. So welcome and I hope you or at least not all of you will leave as when official page will be fully funcional.

Well, they have repetedly acknowledged that they are aware of the problem, and are currently upgrading server hard- and software, so things should get better soon. Took them longer thatn I expected though. I guess they didnt expect their game to become so popular so quickly

Stil there is this and some other nice boards around, and the official boards are overcrowded now anyway...

Edit:
Oh, and by the way, the board are NOT official tech support anyway, you have to email or phone tech support!

Force of habit. Anytime I get a game, I always, ALWAYS, watch to see what troubles are being reported on the gamesite. WHY? Because then if I run into the same issues, I am two steps ahead of anything else, like telephone or email support.

Thanks rpgdot, you should get a nice tip from Bethsoft when this thing is over...its the only professional thing to do.

Well, what should I say? It's a pleasure to have you as guests here at RPGDot, and I'd be happy if some of you will make this site your home (you should have a look at our news site and RPG database as well, BTW).

Well, rpgdot is still no:1...

By all means, I am very surprised that there are so few flames, and so many nice people here. Can it be becouse most hard-core RPG gamers are grownups? I dunno...

Best Regards

Your board seem very well respected

Believe it or not, this is the first time i ever joined a board. The biggest reason why i like your site is the courtesy and professionalism of the staff and all it's members. I don't like sites that lose track of the flow by flaming eachother to death. Everyone here helps eachother out.

To me, these reasons make this site a pleasure to be a part of. Keep up the good work everyone.

Thanks from me, too. BTW - the official forums are up again, and a little bit less slow than before. Hope you stay here, nevertheless...

Let me comfort you...

I would'nt worry about losing me to another message board, or even Morrowind's for that matter. Im already hooked, and I am sure many others agree.

As for me? Well maybe this would explain how I feel about your site, cuz this is what I did:

Click [Tools], [Internet Options], Then typed "http://morrowind.rpgdot.com/index.php" in the "Home page" address box...

Hell, I'm not leaving..

I worked long and hard to get a custom pic up here, and I'm not starting over!!!

In all seriousness, this is one of the best forums I've ever had the pleasure to take part in. Good administrators, good moderators, and a very solid and knowledgeable fan base...

Great community!
