Final Fantasy 12: Coming in 2nd Half of 2003?
   

Not even sure what 'Final Fantasy XII' is all about. A sequel to the online-only MMORPG 'Final Fantasy XI' or a new installment in the single player 'Final Fantasy' franchise? <br>Anyway, thanks to Petr Smejc for the following: <br><blockquote><em>Square Enix announced FF XII will be released in 2. half of fiscal year 2003, what seems to be this year's Christmas season - we talk about Japan, of course.</em></blockquote>

As far as I know, 12 was always planned as the next single-player installment. 2nd half of fiscal 2003 could be as late as spring 2004 if I'm not mistaken.
