OK, I feel pretty dense here. I've whacked the latest manifestation and searched the room. I've checked everybody (except all the guards) in town for clues; most don't even have a "gateway haunting" keyword.
I'd prefer a decent-sized clue to an outright spoiler, but how do I solve this problem? |

Kill the ghost and go back to get your reward from Angaredhel. He will call you stupid etc as the ghost just comes back. However, he will give you the name of the last expert he called in. Track her down and she will provide you with another key word which will allow you to solve this mystery.
Now I need some help myself in Sadrith Mora. I have wandered around most of the town - haven't been in the Upper Tower and may have missed some other areas but have not found Anis Seloth, the alchemist 'target' of the first Thieve's Guild quest. So where is she?

I use the Gateway Haunt to increase my skills by fighting it all the time. When I first found that ghost I had my Block skill in the 80's after I fought the ghost 7-10 times(I can't remember), I had my Block maxed out. Then I did the same to my other Major and Minor skills so after about fighting it repeatedly for 2 hours I had all of my Major and Minor skill maxed out too!!  |
