First off I am new to these boards and I would like to say hi...ok now that I said hi I was hoping that someone could help me with my problem.
Where can I find Thorus...everyone tell me that he stands in front of the castle but the only guys there are two cranky guards that chop me into little bits if I try to get past...

Also I know this is prolly really stupid but where can I find Ore...I haven't seen any yet.

Any help would be appreciated...

Hi!!! Welcome. (You dont need to worry about Jaz. She is not dangerous. )

Thorus stand in front of the gate at day time. You can get ore by beating down someone, lockpick a chest and find it on the road (not to much.)

Thanks for the advice but I have looked for Thorus all times of the day and still haven't seen this dude...you are speaking of the castle gate where Diego is right...as far as I know there is only one enterance to the castle.

Yeah at that entrance. He has a heavy guard armor. It is a big armor.

Yes, view the map of the Old Camp ( http://gothic.rpgdot.com/index.php?hsaction=10053&ID=199 ) and search for the green T, this is Thorus. But you need to come that place when it's day, because in the night, he's with Gomez in the castle.

That is the only entrance to the castle. The castle gate (not the gate into the outer ring) should have two guards that won't let you pass and a guard in heavy armor standing out in front of them. That heavy guard is Thorus. If he isn't there then you may have to insert him or start a new game. It doesn't sound like you are very far along yet so it should be ok to just start over.

Get ore by stealing. Find the smith first and pick his chest, you'll get enough stuff there to get whatever you want. After that go into every hut, if no one says anything then just take everything. Once you can afford it, get hunting skills, after that your money problems are over.

Actually there is two but the other one you must have a key to get in to.

DzD, if you tell him about that you'll only confuse him more and then he'll never find out where Thorus is...

If he does wants to know. On the market place, there is a hole in the wall of the castle, climb in it and open 3 doors, now you're in the castle too.
