Interface Tips, Tricks, and Ticks Thread

A couple things I noticed about the interface that made my life better:

1. You cant alt-tab out of the game or (my trick with some games) hit the windows key to get to the taskbar, but IME you can hit CTR-ALT-DLT to minimize the game with no ill effects.

2. I've been playing on a lot of resolutions but I think I've settled on 1600x1200. The different menu pages like the right-click character page and the barter window get a little small at larger resolutions. Well I noticed that you can resize the individual windows in those screens by dragging the borders.
The best part of this is that you can make your map a lot bigger, or make your spell list longer or whatever, the windows can overlap too and the one you click on will come to the top.

Anyway if this is all obvious then forget it, but if anyone has any cool tricks let me know.

i think these r pretty obvious...but what the heck..they might help some1:

u can hold CTRL while clicking on an object to select only 1(that's if u have for example 5 arrows)..useful sometimes, but not by that much....

u can press F1 to highlight hotkeys for spells and weapons(1,2,3,4,....)
for example u can set sword blabla to be 1, bow to be 2,spell blabla 3, other spell 4,etc....

double clicking on a window(ie map) will make it dissapear...w/ map, u click on the little map in the bottom right corner of ur screen to highlight it again...

this small map in ur bottom right screen is actually a compass...
facing up is north, down is south, right is east, left is west....

if u hold the tab key(for 3rd person), u can rotate around ur character...

if u have a wheel mouse, i think it's good to bind it to next and previous spell...good for magic users..

Three problems someone might be able to help me with:
a) Is there a shortcut key to close windows? In 1600x1200 it feels a bit encumbering to hit a small "ok" button after doing something.
b) Is there any way to resize the item 2d art? Right now, they are so small, that I have difficulties seing the differences between a loaf of bread and a leather armor.
c) Can I bind unarmed combat to the mousewheel? Hand-To-Hand is my best skill (monk) but it seems to be impossible to do this.

And btw, when you are in the menu screen, press the top right corner of the map to make it "stick" on screen, even when going out from the Menu Screen. Helpful to always see your map up there.

Best Regards
JemyM
