Evil Avatar has picked up an speculative thought from <a href="http://www.gamesponge.info" target="_blank">Game Sponge</a>. Those folks have noticed that <a href="http://www.blizzard.com" target="_blank">Blizzard</a> is advertising for several positions to "work with the team behind Diablo I and II. The rumor is that perhaps Diablo III is in the works. Diablo 3 rumors are happen monthly now, aren't they? Every single time, they are proved wrong. Still, it is fun to speculate.
I wouldn't even expect a Diablo 3. Too many other game designers are making games that go much deeper then Diablo...and have much better multiplayer. They know the market is too tight now, far too difficult to make something that actually "sticks out". |
