JoWood Closing Studios
   

We received an Ad-Hoc notice from <a href="http://www.jowood.com" target="_blank">JoWood</a> a little earlier today in which the publisher announced the closing of two of its development studios. Ebensee ('Transport Giant') and Wings Simulations ('Soldner') will be shut down. <br>The good news is that this move is the beginning of JoWood's new strategy which is to focus on a few core genres, namely strategy, simulations and *drumroll* RPGs .

While studio closures always suck, I think it's better that they drop studios that are dragging the publisher as a whole down. It'd be a shame if crap like Soldner affected the chances of, say, Gothic 3 or Arx 2's success.
