question about two similar weapons |
|
Can anyone fill me in on this? I have the following two weapons:
Glass Jinkblade
short blade, one-handed
chop 7-9
slash 7-9
thrust 6-9
max cond. 400
weight 1.8
value 6500
cast when strikes, paralyze for 10 sec, 200 charge
and
Dwemer Jinksword
short blade, one-handed
chop 7-12
slash 7-12
thrust 9-14
max cond. 1000
weight 8.0
value 350
cast when strikes, paralyze for 10 sec, 200 charge
As you see, both are very similar. To me it seems like the Dwemer weapon should be worth more. I'm just curious as to why there is such a huge difference in value when the weapons are as close as they are. Anyone shed some light on that?

The glass sword is worth more simply because its much much more rare, just as in real life, some things even though they are inferior to they're much more prevalent counterpart are worth much much more, just look at antiques. |

That makes sense... I guess I was looking at it from the standpoint of how similar they were. Oh well, I'll the the Dwemer blade and make a little money of the other! Thanks! |

When in doubt, use whichever one looks cooler. Style is everything. You'll have to whack monsters one or two more times with an inferior weapon... big deal. Monsters are going to hit you no matter what your AC is so you might as well look good. _________________ Estuans interius, Ira vehementi
