And then will they release lots of other games?
What other games is Atari working on? _________________ But one thing is certain: we shall meet again! |

I guess. They announce the release around Valentines Day 2-14. It is released from April to July 2004. If not, never.
An older game 1503 A.D. is finially getting is expansion 'Pirates, Treasures, and Monsters' published by Electronic Arts. Now that game did not sell the best in USA (it is a very good game) alot of people like me bought it ahead of time from gogamer than wait for 3 months to be released normally.
It shows that even that one game is getting its expansion that few thought would have ever been released. Which begs the question: "Where is the Raven add-on?".
I would say a publisher (Atari) must announce it soon (within the next month), or maybe we will never get it. It would be a shame, did not Gothic 2 sell good in Europe as a whole? It would be silly not to release the Raven expansion. It also makes the original G2 even better with more challenge. _________________ Wo ist mein Sumpfkraut? |

You canīt compare G2 and Anno 1503. Anno is _the_ dominating force in the German PC market, which is the worlds 2nd biggest. Anno beats everything in sales numbers. EA Sports titles, NFS, Splinter Cell, even Warcraft 3. If EA wants the number 1 spot they have to sign Anno 1503. Sunflowers knows this. They will not accept delays. The add-on was released before Christmas in Germany, the rest of the world will follow soon. The quick worldwide release is the price EA has to pay.
G2 has no such leverage. If Atari doesnīt release TNotR PB can only hope the rights fall back to JoWooD after a year or so.
Itīs 7 months since the UK release, 2 months since the US release and still 24 months till G3 comes. Atari has all the time in the world. _________________ Webmaster GothicDot |

We thought JoWood was slow getting G2 out; 9 months?
Now it seems they were not so bad after all!
Would it be quicker to buy a cheap copy of German version G2 and Raven? It has been out there for awhile.
Then translate the sub titles into English to play.... _________________ Wo ist mein Sumpfkraut? |

Choose your country.
Besides, Atari usually don't 'work on' games - they are just publishers, not developers. |

I meant:what games will Atari publish in the next months besides Night of the Raven? _________________ But one thing is certain: we shall meet again! |

Send them a nice email, mention you loved G2 and ask them if they also signed the add-on and when it will be released in the UK.
A few days ago they didnīt even know TNotR exists. _________________ Webmaster GothicDot |
