I would repurchase Gothic 2 for the US release if...

...someone brings back the old Diego voice actor. I really liked Diego in the first game. He sounded his part, a benevolent paternal guardian for our hero.

Unfortunately the G2 Diego is just a sad, sad travesty. I chalk this up to the devs being German and probably not being that good at understanding the importance of consistency in the English language. I don't expect this to actually happen, but I would just like to say on the record that I would pay another $40 if the US release had the old Diego in it.

I mean, I don't even mind the repetition, but c'mon. The most important NPC has been neutered from a character standpoint. To me Diego = Ramirez from the Highlander universe. Imagine if Sean Connery sounded like Jerry Lewis in all of his movies and that is not even half of the ear rape that G2 Diego is to listen to.

PS: Do something about Lee too. He sounds more like a dope pusher than a great general.
