When walking around outside of the town near trees why do i hear a lot of rustling ? been to look can't find anything can anybody give me a hint.

I'm new to gothic but got to chapter 2, where is the valley of the mines, Ive got to get evidence for Lord Hagan before he will tell me or give me the EYE OF INNOS. can anybody help please....
