I fixed it.
A new sound card, no more stuttering.
The Spec's on the box that state that any DX compatible sound card will work are BoGuS.
This Game will not play with the Guillemot Maxi Mus ... |

Occasional Stuttering is NOT a driver issue. Ive got the newest driver all the way around and I still get severe stutters every time. This game is unplayable.

Ok
I tried the IRQ thing, no go. Originally the sound card was on the same IRQ as the Video was, so it didnt hurt to change, but not the solution.

Even Taking out the xtra 128mb RAM, it does not stop the stuttering, so that issue is useless to discuss any longer. Any more ideas?

There is information you can use to "fix" Windows RAM usage from MS. By changing the MaxPhysPage in the 386Enh, it basically "fixes" the Win shortcoming. See info at:

I used the cmedia driver and the Yamaha sysoft and both have the same results.
No sound the game is playable, but I miss the game then. |
