The door it unlocks is 35.
I've cleaned out the whole dungeon at level 3 and lower. It's not easy but it's do-able.
Another thing I noticed is the higher your level, the more painfull the lowe ... |

If you go to the elderscrolls board they have a post asking to help beta test the patch.
I haven't been able to read the post because the page gives an error and is not able to load. |

The only time I've seen the long blade or any weapon skill increase above your present skill level is when I cast bound weapon.
My conjuration and weapon skills have not been very high when I cast ... |

Is your intelligence in red?
If so you need to go to a shrine or use a spell or potion to heal it back to normal. |
